How to Apply for a Visa to Attend SIGGRAPH 2003

International Attendee Services
  • Letters of invitation for visa applications. To learn all the details related to letters of invitation, please read the information listed in How to Apply for a Visa to Attend SIGGRAPH 2003. To request an invitation, please send the SIGGRAPH 2003 International Chair your complete name, street address, city, country, postal code, fax number, phone number, date of birth, and passport number.

  • The International Center hosts informal cultural-exchange receptions throughout the conference week. All attendees are invited to share relaxed conversation and cultural experiences with people from specific countries or world regions.

  • Contacts with other attendees from your country and other parts of the world. Here are some ways to make new contacts:
-- Post a message on the International Center message board.
-- Schedule a Birds of a Feather meeting for attendees from your country. The purpose of this meeting could be: networking, socializing in your own language, discussing how to bring the SIGGRAPH conference experience home, planning a new Professional or Student ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter, or simply making friends.
-- Talk with members of the International Resources Committee who know people in your country or region.
-- Meet with a Professional or Student ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter representative from your country or region.
  • Presenter assistance. If you are presenting your work at SIGGRAPH 2003, we can help during setup or during your presentation. We can not guarantee that help will be available in your language, but we will do our best to assist you.

  • English Review Service, to improve the English version of your SIGGRAPH 2003 submmission.
As an international attendee, you can bring the SIGGRAPH 2003 experience home by establishing a new Professional or Student ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter in your own country, or by volunteering for a conference committee or sub-committee. The International Resources Committee is always looking for new volunteers from around the world, to help increase diversity in the annual conference and help answer international attendees' questions.

To volunteer for the International Resources Committee, please fill out this online form.
