[The Electronic Speedway]
"Ladies and gentlemen start your engines!" Prepare to be
blown away by technology burning clock cycles and pushing extreme
limits. Computing power has been advancing far quicker than our ability
to harness it for real-time interactivity. The Electronic Speedway
will showcase projects that exploit technology in all its forms. You
may be doing amazing things with pennies of parts or a million-dollar
prototype. Whether you are racing away in the back of your garage,
or in one of the world's finest research labs, you are invited to
submit your work for Emerging Technologies at SIGGRAPH 2003.
Emerging Technologies is seeking work in the fields of real-time interactivity,
robotics, graphics, music, audio, displays, haptics, sensors, gaming,
the Web, artificial intelligence, visualization, collaborative environments,
medicine, biotechnology, design, entertainment, aerospace, the military,
and anything else you can imagine, changing the way we interact with
technology. We invite you to be part of SIGGRAPH 2003, the conference
and community supporting computer graphics and interactive techniques.
