JOB
SEEKER SERVICES
All registered SIGGRAPH 2002 attendees are eligible to
participate. Résumés from non-registered individuals will
not be accepted. Résumés will be posted in one of the
following three categories:
- Art: Film/Video/Animator, Graphic/Fine Artist and
Multimedia
- Technology: Engineer, Scientist/Researcher and Software
Developer/Analyst
- Other: Educator and Other
Due to limited space, résumés will be
posted in one category only. One copy of your résumé
should be submitted for posting. The posted résumé
cannot exceed 8 inches x 11 inches. You may wish to
make this copy "stand out" by printing it in color or
by including samples of your work (the samples will be
placed behind your résumé). Additional copies
of your résumé are required if you want
copies available for interested companies. The Career
Center staff will also distribute copies of your demo
tapes, if provided. Due to space limitations, a maximum
of four demo tapes may be given to Career Center for distribution.
Additional copies may be added as needed.
Using the Résumé Request Forms, company representatives
may request copies of résumés that they find of interest.
Job seekers can also drop off résumés for Career Center
staff to forward to a specific company.
This service is only offered for companies that have agreed
to accept résumés. Be prepared with extra copies of your
résumé if you wish to take advantage of this service.
The Career Center interview schedule lists company names
and times. Career Center staff are available to help schedule
interviews with prospective employers.
CAREER MENTORING SERVICES
Throughout SIGGRAPH 2002, industry professionals are available
to discuss your computer graphics career and general questions
on the computer graphics industry.
