Education
is an unlimited process. It takes place in many settings
beyond formal classrooms: homes, streets, libraries, clubs,
malls, and museums. The San Antonio Childrens Museum is
a unique learning center because it is designed to be
an interactive and stimulating educational experience
that can be shared by both parents and children.
-
sigKIDS should be of interest to all students, educators,
and parents.
-
sigKIDS is looking for individuals and corporations
who are developing interactive technology-based educational
activities for children 4-12 years old. These installations
will be presented at the San Antonio Children's Museum
during SIGGRAPH 2002.
-
Camp sigKIDS at the San Antonio Children's Museum.
sigKIDS will host a "camp" for children 4-8 years
old that is intended to be a first-time opportunity
for younger children to interact with technology-based
learning materials. The museum is a unique learning
center because it is designed to be an interactive
and stimulating educational experience for both parents
and children. Registration for the camp will be open
to both museum and conference attendees.
