Through its contributors and attendees from all over the world, the annual SIGGRAPH conference is the premier conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques. The purpose of the International Resources Committee is to make SIGGRAPH 2002 truly oustanding for all participants. Its mission prior to the conference is threefold:
  • Improve the legibility of submissions. We are looking for native English-speaking volunteers who will read contributions and offer suggestions for enhancing readability.

  • Promote SIGGRAPH 2002 worldwide. We are looking for volunteers who will promote the conference outside the United States by distributing SIGGRAPH 2002 literature at computer graphics-related events and collaborating with or starting a professional or student ACM SIGGRAPH chapter, among other possibilities.

  • Attend to the needs of international attendees. Volunteers on the International Resources Committee participate in the International Resources discussion list, offering their experience and knowledge in service to SIGGRAPH 2002 attendees from around the world.

During the conference, volunteers from Pathfinders and International Resources work together to assist new and/or international attendees.
If you wish to apply for the International Resources Committee, please fill out this online form.
