The goal of the annual SIGGRAPH conference has always been to advance the state of the art of seamless human-machine integration. For SIGGRAPH 2002, Emerging Technologies is focusing on research and applications that blaze that trail. You are invited to contribute your vision, expertise, and research to the expedition that is defining, estimating, and charting the edges of our map of this integration.   In particular, we want to understand not only the what and how of your work, but also the why.
