Papers Submission Guidelines
Papers
describing artistic process in digital and electronic
media are encouraged, recognizing that research, critical
thought, and theory are part of the creative process.
Essays are limited to 3,000 words. Include an abstract
limited to 300 words. Do not put any indication of your
name in the paper or filename. Only online submissions
will be accepted. Files must be in rich text format
(RTF), PDF, or plain text (ASCII). Please indicate your
file format on your submission & authorization form.
Accepted process papers will be published in the SIGGRAPH
2002 Electronic Art and Animation Catalog. Papers may
be presented at the conference in the Art Gallery.

Review
All papers will be judged anonymously by a panel of
judges. Papers will be reviewed shortly after the submission
deadline, and notification of acceptance will be emailed
in early March.
Upon Acceptance
Final, edited papers must be received for publication
by 15 March 2002.
Presenter Recognition
A summary of what you will receive if your work is accepted
by SIGGRAPH 2002. Each writer will be recognized in
an appropriate SIGGRAPH 2001 publication, which will
include color images, artists statements, technical
statements, and essays.
