SIGGRAPH 2001 Standard Technical Session Presentation Equipment and Room Layouts

SIGGRAPH 2001 provides the following presentation equipment for each technical session room. Layouts for each technical session room are posted below the list of presentation equipment.

Projection
(2) Projection screens (side by side).
(2) Video projectors (capable of projecting up to 1280 X 1024 resolution).
(1) Matrix routing switcher (allows any source to be routed to either or both video projectors).
(2) Xenon slide projectors. (In West Hall A and B, slides are projected by the video projectors via slide to video converters).

Video Playback
(1) Beta SP Player (located at head table)
(1) SVHS Player (located at head table)

Computers
(2) PCs (specs provided by ACR)
(1) Mac (specs provided by ACR)

Audio
All rooms are equipped with high quality stereo sound systems for microphones, playback sources, and computer audio.

Note: In Paper and Panel rooms there is an additional projection screen behind the podium used to project camera images of the presenter. (West Hall A and B, Petree C and D).

Equipment in the Session Rooms
To ensure that you have the equipment necessary to make your presentation look great, SIGGRAPH 2001 provides a generous array of presentation technology in the session rooms. The standard setup includes dual slide projectors, two screens, two high resolution video/data projectors, a VHS VCR, a Betacam VCR, an audio cassette player, a CD player, a standing lectern, a laser pointer, two microphones, two Pentium III PCs and a Macintosh G4.

All the video players and the computers will be connected to the high resolution video/data projector. The largest rooms will also offer the option of projecting slides through the video projector to take advantage of the enhanced brightness.
