Manex Entertainment is a diversified media company with locations at Alameda Point, located in the San Francisco Bay of Northern California, and Culver City in Southern California. The operating divisions of Manex Entertainment are linked together to create a new kind of production entity, embracing software, hardware, art and design, stage space, consultation/support services and visual effects. Manex Visual Effects (MVFX) is the division of Manex Entertainment focused on creating high-end visual effects for feature films. MVFX developed the extraordinary effects that won Academy Awards® in 1998 and 1999 for Polygram’s "What Dreams May Come" and Warner Bros.’ "The Matrix." MVFX contributed visual effects to box-office successes such as Warner Bros.’ "Romeo Must Die," NBA Entertainment/Giant Screen Sports’ "Jordan to the Max," DreamWorks’ "American Beauty," Disney’s "Mighty Joe Young" and "Armageddon," Paramount’s "Mission: Impossible 2" and "Bless the Child."
