Content Creation: DDD’s 3D content tools significantly speed and cost-reduce 2D to 3D content conversion. Based on artificial intelligence, DDD’s DepthMapper automates and simplifies the tedious process of outlining to create an accurate depth map in record time. DDD’s DepthTweener automatically interpolates between key frames created in any package, eliminating the need for outlining in every frame of a sequence. Delivery: DDD’s efficient OpticBOOM 3D compression and transmission protocols deliver a 2D image with depth map, allowing the image to be viewed in 2D or 3D over any digital media, including television, Internet, CD and DVD. Display: DDD’s glasses-free 3D TV allows stereo 3D visualization of CGI and live footage on 3D displays without any glasses or headgear. Current applications for DDD’s 3D products include 2D-to-3D content conversion from film and video; 3D visualization for graphic artists; 2D and 3D special effects compositing; 3D entertainment and advertising in public spaces such as family entertainment centers, large screen theaters, sports venues, museums and science centers.
