Imagica Corp. and Photron USA will share a booth at this year's Siggraph in Los Angeles. Imagica Corp., recognized the world over for their Resolution Independent Film scanners will have on display an Imager XE Scanner. This year Imagica has added technological advances that will allow a 2K Image to be scanned in 4 seconds per frame and a 4K Image to be scanned in 6 seconds. In addition at Siggraph the Imager XE can be connected via a Fiber Channel or Gigabit Ethernet to a Storage Area Network. Also exhibiting MAMOE, a production oriented low cost "match-move" software that easily calculates the precise camera position, avialable for SGI and Windows. Mamoe integrates a user-freindly interface and state-of-the-art 3D reconstruction technology to generate 3D camera information from 2D live action footage. Photron will be showing their newest version of Primatte Software running on a Unix Based System, Windows NT and MAC Platform. Recognized in the Special Effects business as the industry leader for Green Screen and Blue Screen work people can learn of all the software and hardware platforms Primatte works with.
