Introduction to Computer Graphics

reported by: Jerome Bradley

The purpose of the introduction to computer graphics was to provide a basis for the beginner in the subject of computer graphics so that they could better understand common concepts and jargon related to computer graphics in other courses and events for the rest of the conference.

The course focused on a wide variety basic information about different things like 3-D modeling, 3-D rendering, and graphics display hardware. None of the subjects discussed in the course were reviewed in great detail, but were reviewed enough to gain an overall understanding of the subject.

Many interesting things were discussed like the different types of rendering techniques used in the manipulation of 3-D graphics and the many different ways that people can display graphics on the web.

Overall, the Introduction to Computer Graphics was a wonderful place for any beginner to the world of computer graphics.
