Visualizing the Cosmos: Smoke or Mirrors

In this review of the latest visualization techniques for the most recent research in astronomy, astrophysics, and computational fluid dynamics, panelists focused on solutions to novel problems in entertainment and edutainment for general audiences, movies, planetaria, and IMAX films. The moderator challenged panelists on the "truth" of their work and where they draw boundaries between "simulation" for art and scientific accuracy.
