Online Submission SIGGRAPH 2000
System Overview

With this system, you can send as many submissions as you want to SIGGRAPH 2000 using the same username and password. You can send submissions to more than one SIGGRAPH 2000 program. And you can send multiple submissions to the same program.

When you login to the system, you will see a list of SIGGRAPH 2000 programs. Select the program to which you would like to submit. Once you have completed a form, you will have additional options to View/Edit the Form, Print the Form, and Upload Additional Materials.

Submission requirements are unique to each program. Read them carefully to ensure that your submission is complete and meets all applicable program requirements. We suggest that you print the Submission Procedure Checklist and include a copy with your printed, signed Submission & Authorization Form.

At the end of the online process, your entry will be assigned an online ID number, and your completed form will be displayed in your Web browser. Your submission is not valid until an online ID number is assigned. You MUST:
  1. Print the form.
  2. Sign the form.
  3. Send your printed, signed form via postal or courier service. If we do not receive your completed, signed Submission & Authorization Form, your work cannot be accepted.

Estimated Completion Time

Some forms require more time to complete than others. But you should allocate between 30 minutes and one hour to review a form and complete the online submission process AFTER you have prepared your paper, proposal, supporting documentation, and images.

Why the form must be printed, signed, and sent in physical form

The submission & authorization form is a legal document. It explains the uses SIGGRAPH makes of presented material and requires you to acknowledge that you have permission to use this material. This may involve seeking clearance from your employer or from others who have loaned you material, such as videotapes and slides. The form helps prevent situations whereby SIGGRAPH 2000 presentations include material without permission that might lead to complaints or even legal action. In addition, this form asks if ACM SIGGRAPH may use your materials for conference and organization promotional material in exchange for full author/artist credit information.

We strongly recommend submitting your forms and files well in advance of the submission deadline. The SIGGRAPH 2000 Web server will be very busy as the deadline approaches, and you may experience delays trying to complete your submission(s).
