Use the checklist below to ensure that your submission is complete and meets all applicable program requirements.
1   Complete the online SIGGRAPH 2000 Computer Animation Festival Submission & Authorization Form.
There you will find instructions on how to complete the online form. When you have completed and finalized your submission form, you can display it in your browser for printing. You MUST: print the form, sign the form, and send your printed, signed form via postal or courier service so it arrives on or before the submission deadline. If we do not receive your completed, signed submission & authorization form, your work cannot be accepted by SIGGRAPH 2000. There will be no exceptions for late or mis-shipped pieces!
Send to:
Joe Takai
SIGGRAPH 2000 Computer Animation Festival Chair
Industrial Light & Magic
3155 Kerner Boulevard
San Rafael, California 94901 USA

2   Send your film or video along with your completed, signed submission & authorization form to the above address. In English, label both the videotape and its container with the contact person's name, affiliation, address, telephone number, title of piece(s), running order (if appropriate), runtime(s), and timecode(s).
Do not send masters. We will accept first-generation tape as long as it is not the only original.
Do not send tapes that include commercial watermarks or "bugs." Tapes that include these devices will not be reviewed.
3   Also send to the above address along with your completed, signed submission & authorization form and your film or video: A descriptive statement (100 words or less) suitable for publication, including description of storyline, software, hardware, techniques, or other points of interest (attach an extra sheet).
4   Slides are required for publications and pre-conference publicity, but are not juried. Send five copies of exactly the same image (not five different images) on 35mm slides. In English on each slide, indicate TOP/FRONT and print the contact person's name, telephone number, and online submission ID number on the slide mounts. Do not use glass mounts, as they may break in the mail.
You have sole responsibility for delivering your submission to SIGGRAPH 2000. Special assistance will not be provided for tracking, fees, or damage control as it pertains to the shipment of your packages. It is recommended that you retain your shipping waybill number for purposes of tracking your package.
Do not use fiber or pulp-padded mailers for videotapes. If the mailers break, the fibers can damage your tape and our playback equipment. Tapes sent in these mailers will be returned unopened.
Submitters located outside of the United States should note that customs delays of up to two weeks can occur. Customs labels should bear the words: "Educational material with no commercial value." SIGGRAPH 2000 will not pay any customs fees, duties, or tariffs incurred by your submission. Submissions delayed past the submission deadline will not be accepted for review.
