Accurate records of the number of papers submitted and accepted have been kept from 1977 to the present day. (Data from the first two years of the annual conference are not available.)
7,497 papers have been submitted and 1,622 have been accepted, for an overall acceptance rate of 21.6%.
The number of papers submitted range from 95 (in 1983) to 478 (in 2004).
The number of papers accepted range from 30 (in 1984) to 108 (in 2007).
The acceptance rate ranges from 14.9% (in 1998) to 53.33% (in 1978).
