dux07 - Call for Papers
We're happy to announce the "Call for Papers" for dux07 (Designing for User Experience conference) which will take place at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago from November 5-7, 2007.
Sponsored by AIGA, SIGCHI and
SIGGRAPH, the conference will investigate how social media and networks are
producing a new set of expectations regarding people's opportunities to
contribute, create, personalize and share experiences. As the Designer’s
and Researcher’s that are shaping these experiences, we expect that your roles,
methods and responsibilities are also shifting. To that end, we want to hear
from you regarding:
- How we share experiences is changing
- Experiences define who we are
- Everyone designs
- A new global communication shorthand is being created
- Mobile is not a device
Your stories, opinions and learnings will be juxtaposed against those of the conference organizers who represent diverse companies including Yahoo!, Feedburner, Fit, Helio, Starcom, Bridge Worldwide, Amazon, Motorola, Smart Design and others. And due to overwhelming opinion, we’ve changed the conference format to allow individual presentations and presenter participation to be more substantial this year. Please find-out more and make your submission here.
We'll look forward to connecting at
dux07.
