We are scheduled for our traditional all-day Education Committee meeting on Saturday, August 4th, the day before the conference opening.  In this meeting we review our strategic efforts and focus making achievable goals to the following year.  We talk about coming trends in education and areas coming forth in academia.  Important areas that will be targeted in the following year will be international education, primary and secondary education, game education, education grants, and undergraduate research.

The Education Committee will be presenting during the Ramp-In and Ramp-Out sessions of the Educators Program. The activities and initiatives of the Education Committee are significant.   The Ramp-In will feature the winners of the Space-Time Student Competition, and the Ramp-Out will present an overview of  the year’s activities.  We will also highlight areas that need significant volunteer efforts.  Please plan to attend the following venues.
