Space-Time 2007 Competition Open to All Students

Now is the time to think about the Space-Time competition. We need your help to make this year the most successful year. To do this we are asking Instructors to incorporate submissions to the Space-Time as an option for one of your course projects.

Students:

This competition is a wonderful way to fulfill one of your course assignments; compete in an international competition; and get some professional feedback on your work all in one shot.  The deadline for submission is May 1, 2007.  All the details to enter the competition are located at:

The ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee (ASEC) sponsors the Space-Time student competition. The juried competition in print, animation, and interactivity provides an excellent opportunity for students working in digital media to exhibit their creative work nationally and internationally.

The competition is open to all students currently attending elementary or secondary schools, colleges or universities. We ask professors and teachers to encourage their students to enter this prestigious competition. Selected projects will be on exhibit in San Diego, California at the SIGGRAPH 2007 conference.

Winning entries will also tour nationally and internationally for approximately one year with the Space-Time Traveling Exhibition conducted by the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee. Selected projects or project segments from the entries may be included on the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee web site and in promotional materials distributed at the conference.
