This year the SIGGRAPH Public Policy Chair, Bob Ellis, will be stepping down. While the SIGGRAPH Public Policy Program will no longer be active, this web site will remain online for archival and information purposes until further notice. Bob Ellis will continue to be a member of the ACM's U.S. policy organization USACM.

The mission of the SIGGRAPH Public Policy Program is to provide visibility of relevant, external non-technical information, such as proposed legislation, to SIGGRAPH members and others in the computer graphics technical community and to provide information on the implications of technology to the non-technical community, including policy makers and funding agencies.
