This project funds the historical preservation of the 1986 SIGGRAPH
Art Show video presentation by making a safety copy of the original six
hour video presentation. The purposes are to archive the presentation to a
digital media and to determine the extent of any tape damage.
The Special Projects Committee also spent $3300 in June 1999 for the redesign
and reprinting of the Special Project's brochure in an effort to solicit more
proposals.
