Danielle DaCosta, Assistant Professor, Endicott College, $3500, approved 12/15/04 There is a rich history of scientists, engineers, artists, designers, writers, and theorists who together shared and explored their ground breaking visions of what we know of as multimedia and cyber arts today. This proposed project is a procedural visualization of a dynamic system, which demonstrates the importance of the historic cross-disciplinary impact that these innovators have made through their collaborative and personal works. It will also be a forum for contemporary innovators to place their work within this historical construct, thus making the site a continuous exploration.
