SIGGRAPH 2012 & Laval Virtual

Jeff Jortner, President of ACM SIGGRAPH recently attended the 14th annual Laval Virtual Conference in France to select the SIGGRAPH 2012 emerging technology award winner.

SIGGRAPH 2012 & Laval Virtual

ACM SIGGRAPH President Jeff Jortner (L) presents the award to the Techtile Toolkit team.

This year the award went to Techtile Toolkit, a collaborative work of KMD Tachilab, JST-CREST Haptic Media Project, Keio-SFC Kakehi Laboratory, and YCAM InterLab.  The award winners are invited to exhibit in the Emerging Technologies program at SIGGRAPH 2012. The Laval Virtual Conference has a cooperative working agreement with ACM SIGGRAPH.
