Scott Owen elected to the ACM Council
Our ACM SIGGRAPH President has been elected as one of the SIG Governing Board (SGB) representatives to the ACM Council for a two year term. Congratulations Scott!

The Council is the highest governing body in ACM and it's duties are
(from the ACM Bylaws): The Council shall formulate the policies of the
Association, and generally supervise their execution by the officers of
the Association.
The SGB Representatives are elected by the Chairs/Presidents of the
SIGs.
