Joe Marks is named the new CAG Chair

Joe Marks, VP-R&D Disney Research, assumes an additional role as the SIGGRAPH Conference Advisory (CAG) Chair as Jackie White ends her term.

Joe Marks, the 2007 SIGGRAPH Conference Chair,  will put his vast experience and leadership abilities to use in his new capacity as CAG Chair.  The Conference Advisory Group provides multi-year policy and procedural oversight for all SIGGRAPH conference planning, and the CAG Chair oversees their activities.  The CAG Chair is selected by the members of the CAG and is usually a past Conference Chair.   As CAG Chair, Joe also becomes a member of the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee.  The EC would like to congratulate Joe in his new post and looks forward to working with him.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the past CAG Chair, Jackie White for her dedication, her hard work, her unyielding demand for excellence and her willingness to dig deep into the trenches and not let up until a problem is solved.  Thank you Jackie!
