Candidates for this position:

- Provide oversight of the ACM SIGGRAPH Chapters on behalf of the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee
- Chair the ACM SIGGRAPH Professional and Chapters Committee (PSCC)
- Work with the various PSCC sub-committees to provide services and direction for the network of ACM SIGGRAPH Professional and Student Chapters; some current sub-committees include Electronic Services, Web Site, Publications, Start-Up Services, and Student Chapter Services.
- Work with the ACM Local Activities Coordinator on ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter issues
-  Communicate new ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH policies and initiatives to the ACM SIGGRAPH network of chapters
- Keep the chapters informed year-round via monthly (at least) e-mail blasts that are also designed to encourage feedback and discussion
- Support the chapters year-round by providing answers to their questions / concerns or by connecting them with the correct individuals / bodies
- Assist new chapter inquiries during the Start-Up process
- Work with ACM headquarters to continue development and implementation of the ACM SIGGRAPH Associate Membership Program
- Organize and run the Chapter Development Workshops held at the SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia conferences
- Coordinate chapter activities for both the SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia conferences
- Coordinate / develop collaborative activities with other ACM SIGGRAPH committees
- Should be a current or former ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter officer / major volunteer
- Must be a member of ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH
