Members to vote on Bylaws changes

The ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee is proposing a set of substantial changes in the organization Bylaws. These changes reflect a proposed change in the structure and operation of our organization to improve our processes, enable better strategic oversight, and more efficiently communicate with, and serve our membership.

The proposed new bylaws, an explanation and rationale for the changes, an associated set of new policies, and a proposal for a new type of ACM SIGGRAPH Member - an Associate Member, can be found in this folder.

These changes must be approved by the members of ACM SIGGRAPH and will be included in the upcoming election. We urge you to carefully read the new bylaws and vote for them. If there are any questions, please email me or any other member of the Executive Committee. As questions are received, we will post the questions and answers in my blog.

G. Scott Owen
ACM SIGGRAPH President
