Chair of the External Relations Committee
The ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee has recently established the External Relations Committee (ERC) and we are seeking a Chair for this committee. The search will remain open until May 26. If you are interested please contact Scott Lang (scott_lang (at) siggraph.org). Here is a description of the committee.
Charge:
This
committee will be responsible for gathering and reviewing all
information pertaining to agreements and or relationships with
organizations external to ACM SIGGRAPH. The ERC committee members will
ensure that all ACM SIGGRAPH volunteers are aware that any such
proposed agreement/relationship must be reported to the ERC before
finalized and, if possible, as soon as ACM SIGGRAPH has been contacted.
The ERC will decide if the proposed agreements need to be approved by
the ACM SIGGRAPH EC according to our policies. All proposed agreements/relationships will be posted on
the siggraph.org website and available to the EC so that the EC can
call for an approval of any agreement if they so desire.
