The ACM SIGGRAPH Student Services Committee (S3) is hosting an open Call for Candidates for its Committee Chair position. The Chair is responsible for overseeing all of S3's year-round operations including its online services, professional-student mentoring programs, career counseling resources, and its support for event-driven programs such as the SIGGRAPH Student Volunteers program. Successful candidates will have strong knowledge and experience with ACM SIGGRAPH student programs, and hands-on experience developing and delivering programs for undergraduate and graduate students on a global scale. The time commitment for this position is variable based on active programs. The Chair is expected to maintain and grow a committee of volunteer educators and professionals to deliver on its core programs. This position does not have a defined term of service, and will continue until the Chair's notice of resignation, or until a new Chair is appointed by the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee, however a willingness to serve a minimum term of 2 years is expected from potential candidates. The search shall remain open until 26 May, 2008.
