Joe Marks is named the new CAG Chair

Joe Marks, VP-R&D Disney Research, assumes an additional role as the SIGGRAPH Conference Advisory (CAG) Chair as Jackie White ends her term.

ACM SIGGRAPH Members elect their new Directors-at-Large

Jacqueline Ford Morie, James O'Brien and Turner Whitted have been elected to the ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee for a three-year term beginning 1 July 2010.

Scott Owen elected to the ACM Council

Our ACM SIGGRAPH President has been elected as one of the SIG Governing Board (SGB) representatives to the ACM Council for a two year term. Congratulations Scott!

Alain Chesnais is elected ACM President

The results are in! Veteran ACM + ACM SIGGRAPH member, seasoned volunteer and ACM SIGGRAPH past president Alain Chesnais will take office on 1 July 2010 for a two-year term. Congratulations Alain!

We are probably best known for the annual SIGGRAPH conference we sponsor, but we also put on a variety of programs year-round and worldwide to benefit the SIGGRAPH community.
