Alice: Easy to Learn Interactive 3D Graphics
Alice is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-use software package that allows users with little programming experience to create interactive and interesting virtual environments. Alice will be released in the fall of 1996.

Participants enter a virtual environment, where they use a light saber to train as a Jedi Knight. In what appears to be a spacecraft hangar, they use their light saber to defend themselves against a floating droid's blasters. Other attendees watch demos of other virtual environments being created and manipulated in Alice.

Each participant wears a head-mounted display and holds a physical prop to simulate a light saber. Both the head-mounted display and the prop are tracked, allowing participants to look around their environment and interact with it using the light saber.
