<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">There are several new items from the Conference Advisory Group (CAG). First is a newly revised <a href="http://www.siggraph.org/conferences/cag/statexe.html">"State of the SIGGRAPH Conference document".</a>
<br/>
<br/>The CAG has recommended, and the ACM SIGGRAPH EC has approved, Joe Marks as the SIGGRAPH 2007 Conference Chair. Joe, from MERL Laboratories in Cambrideg, MA, was the Papers Program Chair in 2004. SIGGRAPH 2007 will be held in San Diego.

<br/>The CAG has recommended, and the ACM SIGGRAPH EC has approved, Jackie White, Cal. State L.A., as the next CAG Chair. She will take office January 1, 2005 and serve a three year term. Jackie's background is in Art and she has served on the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee for many years. She was the SIGGRAPH 2000 Conference Chair.

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The annual BOF on the Future of the SIGGRAPH Conference will be held at SIGGRAPH 2004 on Thursday , August 12, from 4:00 -5:30pm in Room 506 of the LA Convention Center (LACC). This is an opportunity to come and meet with representatives of the CAG and ask questions and or make suggestions for future operational and strategic directions for the conference. I (Scott Owen) will be leading the discussion so if there is anything specific you would like to discuss, please email me at owen@siggraph.org, or just show up! </div>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">There will be a SIGGRAPH Conference Contributor Recognition Forum held on Tuesday, August 10 from 1:00-1:45pm in the Los Angeles Convention Center Room 502A. The purpose of this forum will be to discuss possible changes in the current CAG Contributor Recognition (CR) policy. The CR policy governs what conference contributors, i.e. speakers in Papers, Panels, Courses, Sketches, etc. receive for their contribution as well as the CR that volunteers receive.</div>
