World eco-tope

To make audience feel the vicissitude of earth more intuitively, we realize World eco-tope; an intuitive tele-presence art work that enables audience to feel distant country’s real time weather closely. In our work, there is no need to utilize expressions of letters, weather symbols, or voice of weather forecaster. Audience can see the weather of any locations including the ones you do not even know of, located at the remotest part of the world. To realize this, we emphasis on “intuitiveness” to design world eco-tope, which enables any audience who are from children to elderly can enjoy the weather of distant countries. We provide following two features: direct touchable manipulation of designating the location by the globe and comprehensive understanding of the weather by the biotope. For intuitive understanding of vicissitude of earth, our biotope itself represents the eco-system of the earth. Eco-system of the earth includes floating water down to the earth, changing lightness by sun or moon, and trees blown by the wind. To produce the eco-system, we plant real plant in the content of biotope so as to reflect globe itself, the flow of the nature, which the plant glows and water circulate according to the change of weather.
