Transformers: Dark of the Moon dishes up the final segment of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Transforming robots and massive explosions lead to the total destruction of Chicago – highly improbable in real life but quite possible on screen.

Join Brennan Doyle and Abishek Nair as they discuss the challenges of bringing the robots to life and creating effects in stereo. The talk will cover look development on the characters and a breakdown of the Chicago destruction sequence.

Together, they will also touch on ILM’s involvement reliving the experience in a new Transformers theme ride that opens at Universal Studios Singapore this December.

Industrial Light & Magic was the principal VFX house for all the Transformers movies. This third installment is the Singapore studio’s largest project to date and the first film where every discipline was replicated.
