Technology has changed the way images are delivered on screen. This, together with a wide array of digital tools, helps artists bring their work to life -- whether in an animated feature, a television series, a game or visual effects for a movie.
While technology and tools are readily available, these cannot replace a solid background in art. Artists need to train the aesthetic eye – looking at an image and developing a sense of composition, color, texture and light. To be successful, artists must learn how to balance both technical and creative skills.
In this Technology Talk, Ken Huff will take us back to the fundamental principles of art and design to improve creative skills whilst sharpening the magic that makes the human eye irreplaceable.
