Crystal Clear

A special function was used to make objects look like glass. I can't imagine myself making an oil painting like this image. I had to play back and forth with different settings for the transparency. Many of the spheres inside the bowl intersect but I think it makes it more interesting. All of the models were mathematically generated using functions that affect geometry. The head data was scanned by a laser beam and automatically recorded into the computer. My granddaughter Emily likes the glass butterfly and wonders if it can fly.
