While experimenting with
the transparent floaters on Painter 5, the artist discovered that
sometimes a few variations in brush behavior are enough to lift
the space and give it the right luminosity. Digital painting provides
a depth and clarity that is impossible to achieve with oil paint.
This work also includes
some real-life grit, from backyard photographs of pots and toy guns.
