Artist Statement: While artists visualize concepts, the works of art are structured by the characteristic nature of various
media and materials that artists utilize. The astonishing visualizing power of computer, on the other hand,
has offered new aesthetic opportunities to many artists and designers by providing extensive sets of
visual possibilities. It has suggested new notions of how to create, see, understand and appreciate a
work of art.
More than anything computer technologies allow me to explore the visual concepts as if I can actually
interact with each part of the images. Many of my works are the results of countless mixtures and
variations of images that are coming from various sources. The technology constantly pushes me to
challenge with the new ideas and deeper engagements. Most of all, computer graphics technology
provides me the endless possibilities of regenerating new developments, thus provokes new sets of
visual concepts.
