Residue was
written in 1999 and unlike other works by its creator, the
animation and music were created simultaneously. The technical and
artistic challenges this created were immense, but the necessity to
carry both elements forward, each with some meaningful continuity,
plus
keep the two in sync from an aesthetic viewpoint, provided the author
with a stimulating and provocative experience.
