ACM SIGGRAPH Special Project Grant Proposal Process

The model for this process is adapted from the NSF, i. e. obtaining external expert reviews with the Program Director (VP) making the final decision. In some cases it might be necessary to have the equivalent of an NSF panel meeting, a conference call between VP and the reviewers to discuss any issues. Note that one EC member will always be involved in the decision for oversight purposes. That EC member will be asked based on likely interest in the grant. Like NSF, reviewers will remain anonymous.
