Eurographics

Agreed to further legalize contacts with Eurographics to encourage interaction of the two groups. (Oct. 23-29, 1980)

 

SIGGRAPH and Eurographics will sponsor a representative to attend each other's conference to make a presentation. Each group may have a member on the other's Conference Technical Program Committee. (June 9, 1982)

Note: This was changed in 1984 (See next item)

 

SIGGRAPH will continue working with EG, but future program committees will no longer be required to have a representative from the other society. (June 16, 1984)

 

Cooperative agreement with Eurographics states that SIGGRAPH members may purchase Eurographics technical reports at Eurographics rates, and Eurographics members may purchase SIGGRAPH Video Reviews at SIGGRAPH member rates.

ACM SIGGRAPH supports the concept of a joint membership of ACM SIGGRAPH and Eurographics with price and operational details to be developed. ACM SIGGRAPH will offer a $7 discount on joint membership with Eurographics. (March 11, 2000

 

The joint membership agreement with Eurographics has been approved. Eurographics members will receive a $7 discount on ACM SIGGRAPH membership. (April 12, 2000)

Eurographics/ACM SIGGRAPH Exchange Proposal

In order to strengthen our affiliation, Eurographics and CM SIGGRAPH agree to an exchange of representatives at Executive Committee meetings during the year. Beginning in 2002:

* ACM SIGGRAPH formally invites Eurographics to send a representative to participate in one ACM SIGGRAPH Executive Committee meeting.

* Eurographics formally invites ACM SIGGARPH to send a representative to participate in one Eurographics Executive Committee meeting.

These meetings are intended to be in addition to the meetings that currently take place during the week of the respective annual conferences. ACM SIGGRAPH will cover the expense of sending its representative to the Eurographics meeting, and Eurographics will cover the expense of sending its representative to the ACM SIGGRAPH meeting.

 

To amend the ACM SIGGRAPH/Eurographics cooperation agreement to guarantee that ACM SIGGRAPH publish the proceedings from certain Eurographics workshops for the next three years, contingent on approval by the ACM Pubs Board.
