siggraph.org is now only a mail forwarding machine. Any ACM SIGGRAPH volunteer or member can obtain an email forwarding address. Shell accounts on siggraph.org are given only to volunteers or contractors with a need to manage information on the machine. (November 10-11, 2000)
We must make sure that any amendments to a proposal are documented when an amended proposal is approved. (February 13, 2002)
It was proposed to change the official term of Executive Committee offices from July 1st to 2 or 3 weeks post conference. Motion Approved:To accept the proposal and move forward with a task force to deal with a transition plan and submit the bylaws change during the 2005 election cycle.(April 14, 2004).
[NRC] National Research Council study proposal, for a panel on computer graphics research, approved. (March 11, 2000)
[NRC research study] Set July 1, 2003, as a deadline for the National Research Council to raise the funds for the ACM SIGGRAPH sponsored study entitled "Research Challenges in Computer Graphics". If the NRC is not successful, the seed funds ($50,000) will be returned to ACM SIGGRAPH at this time.
For the ACM SIGGRAPH President to continue to write support letters certifying professional qualifications, at the discretion of the ACM SIGGRAPH President, when we are able to verify the information. (March 11, 2000)
[NRC Research Workshop]
There was a proposal that we allow the seed money allocated for a formal National Research Council (NRC) Panel on Computer Graphics to be used for a workshop to be held this fall. The details of this proposal are in the minutes from the May 2003 Executive Committee minutes.

CRA-W Mentoring Project We were asked to co-sponsor a mentoring project proposed for SIG Discretionary Funds by the CRA-W, the Computer Research Association group that focuses on women in computing. We felt that the proposal did not address what some of us viewed as the main issues and that a project that only benefited a few students did not gain as much as other projects might. We are not in favor of support for this proposal. (September 24, 2003)
The Traveling Art Show program and its accompanying responsibilities are moved from the Vice PresidentÂ’s area of oversight to fall under the oversight of the Director for Chapters. (April 14, 2004)
