Motions


Motion: The EC accepts the CAG’s recommendation to hold SIGGRAPH 2009 in New Orleans.
For: White (Motion), Chesnais (second), Haley, Barry, Cook, Kilmer, Jortner, Spencer, Frey, McAfee, Rockwood


Motion: The EC accepts the CAG’s recommendation to approve the revised job description and CAG chair position terms.
For: Cook (Motion), Haley (second), Barry, Chesnais, Kilmer, Jortner, Spencer, McAfee, Rockwood
Abstain: Frey and White


Motion: The EC accepts the CAG’s recommendation for Terrence Masson as the SIGGRAPH 2010 conference chair.
For: White (Motion), Frey (second), Barry, Chesnais, Cook, Kilmer, Spencer, Jortner, McAfee, Rockwood, Haley


Motion: ACM SIGGRAPH will incorporate the Pioneers Program into the SIG Structure with details to be worked out.
For: Barry(Motion), White (second), Jortner, Chesnais, Cook, Kilmer, Spencer, McAfee, Rockwood, Frey, Haley


Motion: Move to accept the proposed FY08 budget subject to a 3% variation on the total operating expenses.
For: Jortner (Motion), Chesnais (second), Kilmer, Barry, McAfee, White, Haley, Cook, Frey, Rockwood, Spencer


Motion: ACM SIGGRAPH support use of the Creative Commons license on the siggraph.org site where appropriate.
For: Barry (Motion), Rockwood (second), Chesnais, Kilmer, McAfee, White, Haley, Cook, Frey, Spencer, Jortner


A motion was made and accepted concerning content capture at SIGGRAPH 2007 but was later found to be based on faulty information and was formally rescinded.
